Cairngorms, Aviemore, Scotland, 16 April 2008!

I just cannot help showing off these photos of the Cairngorms in April. Locals say this is the best snow for 25 years and it certainly was wonderful. Plenty of cover, firm base, well pisted, lots of runs. Most of today was spent on the West Wall where the snow was better and skiers had a rare opportunity to ski this area. The regular runs, M1 and White Lady were empty by comparison but queues on the West Wall were never too long. Absolutely FABULOUS !!
